This is piece is inspired by vintage pulp covers and posters.
My focus is on the She-Wolf (a strong, determined woman). I wanted to embolden the She-Wolf by embracing her bold qualities with her synonyms [for better or worse].
The story of ‘She-Wolf’ describes a woman with an uncaged sensualness. She seeks the perfect victim, someone of status (and pompousness). The ‘She-Wolf’ already knows who (and what) she is after - she plays a game of cat and mouse (or prey and wolf in this case). She catches on to her prey’s manipulation and deceitfulness - always remaining one step ahead. It is not until her victims are dry of any hope, does she give her last and final kiss. She ensures her victims remember her by winking at them on the floor, with a satisfied smirk piercing their hearts as she walks out the door one last time.
