‘Suppressed’ captures my own suppressed feelings towards navigating life in our society. Art is a skill I’ve personally suppressed throughout much of my life (until recently), and this piece captures the essence of my own skill set trying to grab my attention. [Sometimes as humans, we become so caught up in life and that we miss out on the obvious.]

Paisley is a symbolic pattern for many. It reminds me of my childhood in Texas, a time when the world seemed more clear.
